God’s Protection

God’s Protection

Prayer: Psalm 91 King James Version (KJV) 91 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. 8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. 9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; 10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. 13 Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. 14 Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 15 He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 16 With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.Amen

It is one of the most recognizable prayers in the Scripture. First do we believe and have faith that when it says, “There shall be no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling or Surely He shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome (unpleasant) pestilence?” I say to you what Psalms 5:11 says, But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. We are sons of God, an inheritance to the Kingdom, we have no reason to fear and every reason to rejoice. So when the world speaks about coronavirus and those that have succumbed to it by reason of sickness or death, I will declare and decree that nothing shall come to my dwelling. Wherever I, my feet shall land is my dwelling, for the Word says in Psalm 24, “The earth is the Lord and the fullness thereof, the world, and they that dwell therein.” Therefore as an inheritant of the Kingdom, my Father gave it to me. Did not the Scripture say, “Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. 10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”

Luke 10:19 King James Version (KJV)

19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and overall the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Is that not a promise, is He not a Promise keeper. He is not a man that He shall lie. For the Lord is my light and salvation who or what shall I fear or be afraid. I will bask in the Glory of the Lord, for I am fully persuaded that his hedge of protection is around me, my family, and those who have faith in Him and are in the Body of Christ. The Word is True. Like Stephen a disciple of Christ full of the Holy Ghost who was first bitten upon, thrown out of the city, then stoned to death, yet he never took his spiritual eyes nor his physical eyes off the Kingdom. He looked into the Heaven and saw Jesus standing at the Right Hand of the Father and asked that Jesus receive his spirit and of those who committed these acts of sin, lay not it to their hearts, then he fell asleep. So for those who die in Christ, there is no death only rest. So even when those who may die from the coronavirus, thanks be to God that they have an opportunity to repent and ensure there is eternal life by asking the Lord to forgive any sins that may hinder them from entering into the Kingdom. Therefore even as they leave this earthly life, the protection of the Lord is with them to give them eternal life. When He said I will never leave you or forsake you, Never means Never.

Father we know as believers that we are in the end times and the prophecy is being fulfilled, which makes the believer even stronger in their faith. Yet for the unbeliever, may these times serve as evidence that your Word is true and that they still have time to turn their lives over to you by prayer, repentance, and obedience. We can rejoice knowing that we have a Savior that has protection around us from our earthly life to our heavenly life. For that, we give you all the Glory, Honor, and Praise. Amen
