He Is My Protection

Prayer: Lord thank you for this day. As I come with praises, honor, and thanksgiving and worship upon my lips, thank you for being my God, a living God. As the world is going through these trying times, keep my mind stayed on you for you are my fortress, my shield, my buckler, my rock, and in you I will put my trust. Calm the troubled mind and give them peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus name Amen

A member of the Body of Christ went home to Glory. He ran his race. He finished his course, and now there is a Crown laid up for him in Heaven. Apostle Frederick K.C. Price, take your rest.

Today many celebrate the February 14th. Spiritually it is said that 14 being a multiple of 7, 14 partakes of its importance and, being double that number, implies a double measure of spiritual perfection.  In the Book of 2 Kings 2:9, Elisha asks for a double portion of Elijah’s anointing. Let today be our Elisha day and ask our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for a double portion of His anointing. His anointing gives wisdom, understanding, power, and authority, and protection, In Jesus Name. Jesus says in John 14:14 If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.

Many believers are troubled by events of things occurring in the world. An example of this is the recent impeachment of the 45th President. The Senate voted to acquit. Although we are in the world, be not of the world. The Scriptures says in Roman 12:3 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

So with what took place in the world of politics, Proverbs 12:2 says Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts. To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. There was a sacrifice made by these senators and the presence of justice was absent.

Isaiah says it best in Isaiah 5:20-21, Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 21 Woe unto them that is wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! God is not pleased. For the wicked shall be judged.

Thank God almighty that the believers have the promise of protection. Psalm 91 describes the protection best. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

If we abide in Him, He shall abide in us. I like this Psalm because it foretells the promises of God. When you read the entire Psalm, take notice of all the verses that contain the word “Shall.” The word shall apply to Him or others is used 11 times and shalt which applied to you is used 5 times. The word Shall expresses the future tense, expressing a strong assertion or intention. Read the Psalm for yourself and know that you are protected and nothing shall befall you when you abide in God. One example is in Psalm 91:10-11 which says, There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

So no matter what is going on in the world, you are protected. President, Congress, Covid, enemy, there is nothing you can do to me that will last because I have an inheritance in the Kingdom, I have a Kingdom Connection. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. They may form but they won’t prosper because I am covered by the Blood of Jesus.

So be not discouraged or dismayed for the thing of the world for God is with you. The Holy Spirit will and can abide in you. All you have to do is trust, believe, and walk-in faith. We love you and know that God loves you.

Now unto Him, that is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. And unto Him, that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us Amen.
